Consumer Has the Right to Participate

Project Goal

Strengthen organizations working on consumer rights protection by providing them with technical and legal expertise. Facilitate the development of the adequate and effective Consumer Rights Protection law and advocate for efficient mechanisms for its implementation. Involving stakeholders in the process of lawmaking.

Project Results

With participation of CSOs and other stakeholders, the draft law on Consumer Rights Protection was prepared.

Capacity Building and Strengthening of the Georgian National Platform for Eastern Partnership

Project Goal

Promote the European Integration, especially the implementation of the Eastern Partnership Priorities by strengthening the Georgian National Forum of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum, as well as by engagement and participation.

Transparent Process of Rapprochement with the European Union - Sanitary and Phytosanitary Policy of Georgia and Moldova

Project Goal

Improve the social-economic situation of population in Moldova and Georgia by promoting the transparency of the EU sanitary and phytosanitary policy. Also, support the improvement of Food Safety legislation and practice and promote the better understanding and comprehension of the SPS standards by process stakeholders.

Project Results

  • Consumer support centers were established in Georgia and Moldova;
  • Trainings for youth and Consumer support centers were organized;
  • Inspection of products and publication of the corresponding information on – FB and momxmarebeli.ge websites was continued;
  • Advocacy campaign for consumer rights protection was implemented.
